My name is Lorena Janeth Rincón, I studying sichologi in six semester, I live in Duitama city with my mother, my father and my two broters.

*Phrasals verbs:

Phrasal verbs are expressions that are formed by combining verbs with prepositions or adverbs. This results in new compound verbs with a very different meaning to individual verbs.

 

*Modal verbs
 
are auxiliary verbs that can not function as a main verb, as opposed to the auxiliary verbs "be", "do" and "have" that can function as a main verb.

 

Modal verbs express modality, ability, possibility, necessity or oth future and conditional.

Within the verbs we find:

Can, could, might, will, shall, should, ought to, must, would.

Can indicate ability and ability. For example, I can speak several languages.Could indicate possibility in the past. For example, this could be better.

It is also used for possibilities in the future.

Mai is also used for future possibilities.

Might indicates possibilities in present and future. Example, maybe it's better to end that now, and not leave it for tomorrow.

Will is used for future time, also to inform and is used as will.

Shall also forms future tense.

Example, your mom will be happy to see you.

Should is for obligation or recommendation.

Example, you should stop smoking.

Ought to be used the same as it should.

Must, indicates prohibition, necessity or obligation.

Example, you have to visit your aunt frequently.

Would, it indicates the statement of a preference and also serves to ask formally. Example, would you like a coffee ?.

 

*TAG QUESTIONS WITH VERB TO BE  

The question tags are used to say truth? The verb to be (was were) is used plus the personal pronoun if the phrase is affirmative, just as it is used when the phrase is negative.
